Group gatherings

Something to celebrate?

For small to medium-sized groups we are happy to think along with you about a suitable arrangement within our concept. Private parties or larger groups (from around 45 people) are only possible during the low season, between September and April.

Temporary change in opening hours

Due to an ongoing staff shortage, we are unfortunately currently unable to fully complete our staff scheduling. In order to continue providing the quality, attention and service you are used to from us, we have decided to temporarily adjust our opening hours.

This is not an easy decision, but we believe it is currently the best way to continue offering our guests the experience that De Overkant stands for.

Whether you go for a pizza, a tasty meal from our kitchen or something quick and easy for home—you order, we prepare it, and you just pick it up.

Family-friendly and relaxed

De Overkant is a place where everyone feels welcome. For our younger guests there is a playground outside and a play corner indoors, so parents can relax while the children have fun. This makes our terrace a great stop for families as well.

De Overkant is ideally located along cycling routes and close to the A7 motorway (Avenhorn exit), making it easily accessible for both local and passing guests. With a spacious terrace, e-bike charging points and plenty of parking, it is a perfect stop for cyclists, walkers and visitors to the region.

Enjoy a refreshing drink or a tasty meal in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The nearby historic city of Hoorn, with its attractions and city beach, makes the area perfect for a day out.
